As I walk the hallways of our school, I witness the transformational experience that Holy Family has on young women. Our girls are happy, confident, inquisitive, creative, and carry themselves with joy and poise. If you ask our girls what makes Holy Family so special, they will tell you that it is a sisterhood; a second family where they feel a profound sense of belonging and encouragement. Holy Family girls care for one another in all aspects of school life.
We intentionally create this environment because, in addition to strong academics, we are equally committed to the spiritual and personal well-being of our girls. This is an important part of our academic preparation, as it supports our commitment to ongoing growth in, and understanding of, how girls learn and what they need to mature into confident young women who are ready for college and ready for life. All of our graduates attend college or university, with 93% accepted to four-year schools. Our college preparatory programming is designed to support girls for acceptance into some of the most highly selective schools in the country. We form young women who attend the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Southern California, the University of California at Berkeley, the University of Kentucky, and Cal Poly Pomona for Engineering, just to name a few.
I encourage you to explore the Holy Family difference, a feeling of community, joy and encouragement that cannot be replicated. Many people have asked me, “Why Holy Family?” Simply put, we cannot imagine a world without confident young women who have faith in themselves, faith in each other, and faith in God.
I invite you to experience Holy Family for yourself; I know you will feel it, too.

Our Commitment is to College Preparation with a Focus on Individual Growth and Well-Being
Holy Family provides a learning experience for our girls that embraces them wherever they are on their academic journey. With many college preparatory, honors, and Advanced Placement options to choose from, our academic preparation is focused on individual growth and support over the four year academic journey. Too often, we see teenage girls over-extended, highly stressed, and not confident about their future because of an inability to cope with the demands of the present. We remain committed to supporting girls’ life-balance and personal well-being, while at the same time encouraging them to stretch themselves academically.
Many of our Advanced Placement courses are offered based on the girls’ interest. Some over the past three years include:
Honors courses, our advanced high school courses, are available in each department.
Our Commitment to Individual Support
Every girl is surrounded with support and guidance, with a collective commitment to their intellectual, personal and spiritual well-being along the way. Every spring, we celebrate this growth as our seniors matriculate to some of the top colleges and universities in the country.
Holy Family boasts a 100% college/university acceptance rate, with a 93% acceptance rate to 4-year schools.
Nearly 70% of the girls at Holy Family participate on at least one of our athletic teams. Our athletic teams provide girls with an opportunity to learn the value of perseverance in the spirit of healthy competition. Our girls are supportive of one another, providing cheer and encouragement during the highs and lows of athletic competition.
Fall Season: Volleyball (JV and Varsity levels) and Cross Country (Varsity only)
Winter Season: Basketball (JV and Varsity levels) and Soccer (Varsity only)
Spring Season: Softball and Track & Field (Both sports are Varsity only)
Holy Family High School (HFHS) competes in the Horizon League. HFHS teams are competitive in the league for many of our sports teams.
Our Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) programming seeks to engage our young women and empower them to think both creatively and critically. Through creation and exploration, our girls will have the opportunity to follow their curiosity, discover a new passion, acquire skills and gain insight into the arts that will enrich them in their Holy Family experience and beyond.
At Holy Family, we pursue the arts because it allows us to express, to connect, and because by doing it, we find joy. It gives the soul a space to breathe and the mind room to wander. Through Music, Visual Arts, Theater and Dance, the young women at Holy Family find ways to elevate their thinking, but when asked, most students will simply tell you they do it because they enjoy it.
The young women at Holy Family are encouraged to celebrate their talents and passions both inside and outside of the classroom. We believe the many clubs offered afford our girls the opportunity to develop new interests, embrace their leadership skills, and focus on areas that stimulate self-discovery.
Below is a list of current clubs and activities.
As student interest evolves, so does this list.
