    • Courses are taught by highly qualified teachers and ESL specialists. Students have access to a wide variety of sports, music, and art programs available at our school.
    • After-school support is available for all grades and is included in the program fee.

Hillcrest Christian School is located in beautiful Thousand Oaks, California. The school was established in 1977 as a private, non-denominational Christian school serving preschool thru 12th grade.

HCS is a California non- profit organization and is accredited by the Western Association of Colleges and Schools and the Association of Christian Schools International. The campus is situated on approximately four acres in the heart of scenic Thousand Oaks, California. Consistently recognized as one of the five safest cities in America, Thousand Oaks has also earned recognition as one of the top ten communities for statewide academic achievement.

HCS provides a Christian philosophy of education, a challenging curriculum, immediate integration, athletics, activities and events, a committed, qualified staff, and an English SDAIE class for English language learners in high school.

  • Two letters of recommendation from teachers written or translated in English
  • Photocopy of valid passport
  • Recent bank statement of parents or legal guardians, as proof of funds
  • SLATE test with a minimum of level 3
  • Church Reference Form
  • Student interview (in person or computer dialogue)
  • Host family interview

The HCS high school curriculum prepares students for admission to the UC system. Although students must earn 240 credits to receive a Hillcrest diploma, most seniors graduate with 260 credits.
