Non-denominational. Distinctively Christian in philosophy but not tied to any particular protestant denomination, BCS serves families from over 100 churches throughout the region and around the world.
For Every Student. Our population includes students from preschool through 12th grade who have been gifted differently. As a result, our comprehensive curricular and co-curricular program includes fine, graphic, and performance arts, athletics, student senate, AP courses and an integrated service program.
Diverse. Students come to school from various parts of King and Snohomish counties and from different socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds. Over fifty international students attend BCS while living with home-stay families. The student body is 67.8% Caucasian; 23.16% Asian/Pacific Islander; 1.13% African American; .85% Hispanic; 6.21% other.
Sought-after. For over 60 years, families have looked to BCS to serve their families’ educational needs. As a result, current enrollment for Preschool to 12th grade is over 1100 students.
Accessible. BCS transportation system buses students to our Senior High (Grades 9-12) & Junior High (Grades 7-8) campus, two Elementary schools and three Preschools. Tailored resources and services for students with different learning needs, counselors on every campus, AP Courses, integrated Science and Math courses, and a robust financial aid and scholarship program better ensures that BCS is a place for all students.
Trusted. BCS is approved by the State of Washington and accredited by Christian Schools International and the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools. Our diploma is accepted by post-secondary institutions such as the University of Washington, United States Military Academies, Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Wheaton College and Berklee School of Music.
Bellevue Christian provides ELL classes and support for students in grades K-12. We are SEVIS approved and authorized under Federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students.
All kindergarten through 8th grade students must live with at least one natural parent at all times while attending Bellevue Christian. Students applying for 9th -11th grade may live with a relative or a host family.
To be considered for enrollment, you will need the following language test scores:
9th Grade: TOEFL 68 or ITEP SLATE 4.5
10th Grade: TOEFL 72
11th Grade: TOEFL 78
The academic program at Bellevue Christian School – Senior High is more than just courses to take. We strive to help students build a four-year program that will equip them for the college or university of their choice and more importantly, learn how to think for a life of godly service.
